The Catboat Conspirator

Some people appreciate traditions. Others look at one of Cayman’s most recognizable maritime symbols and think it could use a little “creative improvement.” Unfortunately for this defendant, that decision has landed them before the Judge.

The Catboat Conspirator stands accused of taking unacceptable artistic liberties with a Cayman catboat. What began as a simple painting project quickly became a matter of serious concern when certain colours appeared where they absolutely should not have been. The defendant insists they were simply expressing themselves, but the court maintains that not every tradition requires a modern makeover.

Was it creativity? Was it a rebellion? Or was it simply a terrible colour choice? The Judge has heard enough and now this defendant needs your help to raise bail.

Charges: Crimes against Caymanian maritime tradition and unauthorized artistic interference.
