The Grave Pointer

It started with one innocent gesture. Unfortunately, this defendant may have pointed at the wrong thing.

The Grave Pointer has been brought before the court after ignoring an old-time Caymanian warning that, according to the Judge, should never have been taken lightly. The accused insists he was simply showing someone where to look and meant absolutely no harm. Unfortunately, the court believes there are some traditions that simply aren’t worth testing.

When asked why he made the gesture, the defendant confidently dismissed the warning as an old superstition. The Judge then asked whether he was prepared to accept the consequences if he was wrong. At that point, the defendant became considerably less confident.

His fingers remain attached, for now, but the Judge has issued a very clear warning. The Grave Pointer now needs your help to raise bail and, hopefully, keep all ten fingers intact.

Charges: Ignoring old-time Caymanian warnings and reckless pointing.
