The “Caymans” Caller

One little word has caused one very big problem.

The “Caymans” Caller has finally been brought before the court after repeatedly using a name the Judge has politely, and repeatedly, asked her to stop using. Unfortunately, she did not stop. The defendant insists that everyone knew what she meant, but the court maintains that understanding the meaning does not make the offence disappear.

After years of corrections, explanations and increasingly frustrated responses, the Judge has decided enough is enough. The accused now faces the consequences of repeatedly adding something that simply does not belong.

Will she finally learn? Will the correction stick? Or will someone have to remind her again next week? For now, the “Caymans” Caller needs your help to raise bail, and perhaps a few reminders along the way.

Charges: Repeatedly referring to the Cayman Islands as “The Caymans.”
